At the anonymous hate blog sponsored by the Gracedale Goons, the menacing remarks have now begun.
Late last month, I told you that Bethlehem Mayor John Callahan was trying to squeeze Hector Nemes out as Executive Director at the Bethlehem Parking Authority
On Easton Patch yesterday, I told you that Northampton County Exec John Stoffa has put a hold on a $25,000 Council grant intended for Butterfly House Founder Anne Houston.
I've been reviewing 507 petitions filed to prevent the County from selling nursing home Gracedale, one of its own assets, and one that loses money
Yesterday, I told you about the latest abuse of Northampton County Council's so-called contingency fund, which over the years has morphed from a fund for real emergencies into a slush fund in which Council members take care of their pals and the politically connected.

Citizens of Slatington, Pennsylvania
Many of us have quietly tolerated blatant & inappropriate behavior by our local Slatington government for a long time. We have chosen to not get involved & have even gone so far as to remain ignorant. Both the citizens & government of Slatington have been this way for many years. For everyone's benefit, we believe this should stop. We believe it is time for radical change & we're hoping that you can help.
We’ve hurriedly composed this website in an effort to enlighten & empower the citizens of Slatington. We’ve done so because this is a very poignant time. There are four Slatington Council positions that will be up for election in 2011. Precious little time remains for citizens to prepare to register & run for a seat on council and/or register to vote.
The state of this community, its quality of life, the value of your home & the amount of municipal taxes & local utilities you pay are all directly affected by the individuals who sit on those council positions. At present, given the current roster & their actions, this town is in a desperate state.
We’ve approached & interviewed several knowledgeable individuals asking them to share with us their facts & resources. This website is a result of compiling those resources all in an effort to bring these very important matters to the public’s attention, to YOUR attention. You are likely to be very shocked & surprised at what we are about to show you.
Please know that there is a great urgency for action to improve the current conditions in Slatington. We know there are many decent folks in this town who are very angry with the current state of affairs. We believe YOU may be one of those decent folks & we need YOU to get motivated & get involved now so that the citizens of Slatington may have their town returned to them & put back into good health.
There isn’t much time. Register to run for a Slatington Council position, register to vote & VOTE. Lets band together & make a positive difference NOW! IMPROVE SLATINGTON!
